issuelive is founded by Luke & David Raskino, two brothers, who have consistently been frustrated by our ability to explore, understand and influence our world on the issues close to our hearts. The issues we're passionate about include climate change, the economy, politics and human trafficking. Over time, we found conventional search was something that was great for day to day queries, but if one is interested in diving deep into a subject e.g. climate change, then search is very frustrating, as there's so much more to a subject than just websites.

Taking on board this challenge, we decided to develop issuelive, where people like us, could not only search for information, but effectively think about what's happening online and record the questions that come to mind and discover the answers as they go along.

We also believe that just one perspective is insufficient, and so right into the heart of issuelive, we've enabled you to explore what others are thinking about the issues close to your heart - if you then feel a debate or discussion coming along, you can dive right into it and launch a debate, and even invite friends to watch you and rate you as you debate.

In other words, you can explore the latest thinking online, discuss it with others to gain a deeper understanding, never forget a thought, as all the issues you explore are stored for you in "my issues" and keep up pace with how these issues are developing over time. And over time, you can start influencing your world, as we launch some really exciting new features that will enable you to do so.
