3. Scope of this Privacy Policy
3.1 This Privacy Policy only applies to how we deal with your personal information,
both the information which you knowingly choose to disclose to us and other information
which we collect from you as you interact with our Site or use our services.
3.2 This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information you disclose to another person,
or organisation or via another person or organisation's websites even if you access them through our Site,
nor does it apply to any disclosure of information you make to another User (as defined in the General
Terms and Conditions) in the course of using the Site or our services. If you disclose your personal
information to other people or organisations or to other Users your information will be dealt with according
to their privacy policies and practices (if any) and we accept no responsibility or liability for the use of
your information by such other people, organisations or by other Users.
4. Information we collect from you
4.1 We may collect and process the following information about you:
(a) Information that you provide by filling in forms on the domain and sub-domains at the Site.
This includes information provided by you at the time of registering as a Registered User (if applicable),
or when you subscribe to and use our services, post content, search for content, grow your social network
or request further services and includes email addresses, physical addresses, telephone numbers
(including mobile telephone numbers) and other contact information for yourself and/or your authorised
representatives, and (depending on the service used) may include financial information, such as bank account details.
(b) If you contact usor if we contact you, we may keep a record of that communication.
(c) We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
(d) Information on your activities on the Site, your clicks via the Site, content you generate or information that relates to your Registered User account (if applicable).
(e) Details of links you establish to or from the Site.
(f) Details of your recommendations (Registered Users only).
(g) Details of your visits to the Site including, but not limited to, computer sign-on data, traffic data
(including the URL you came from and the URL you go to next, whether they are URLs on the Site or not),
location data, IP address, browser information and standard web log information, advertising data,
and other communication data and the resources that you access.

(i) If you enter into any competitions or promotions that we may run, we may ask you for information about you,

the Site, when they visited, for how long and to which areas of our Site they went. We may share this

It helps to show these organisations how effective our Site is as sale channels for their products.
However you or any other individual cannot be identified from any such information that we share as
the information is aggregated and anonymised.
5. What information is published on the Site?
5.1 When you create your Registered User profile ("Profile") (Registered Users only) your user name,
chosen contact email address and any other information you have chosen to make public will be available
to other Users and you will be making that personal information publicly available to all other Users
of the Site and you do so at your own risk.
5.2 Once your Profile is made available on the Site we will not be responsible for any use which is made
of information in your Profile. If you do not want to make this information public you should not include
it within your Profile or you should not use the Site.
5.3 Although we implement security measures in the Site and take steps to limit access to the Site by
third party search engine “crawlers” please do be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that personal information (or other content) you post on the Site
will not be viewed by unauthorised persons. Even after removal, copies of personal information you have chosen
to upload to the Site may have been copied and stored by other persons.
5.4 We therefore urge you to consider carefully what information you upload to the Site.
If you do not want us to store any metadata associated with content you post on the Site please remove
the metadata before uploading the content.
5.5 Any improper collection or misuse of information is a breach of the User Agreement (as defined in the
General Terms and Conditions) and should be reported to us via the contact us
6. IP addresses and cookies
6.1 We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address,
operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to
our advertisers. This is statistical data about our Users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not
identify any individual.
6.2 For the same reason, we may obtain information about your internet usage within the Site by using
a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is
transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve the Site and to deliver a better and
more personalised service. They enable us to:
(a) Estimate our audience size and usage pattern.
(b) Store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customise the Site
according to your individual interests.
(c) Speed up your searches.
(d) Recognise you when you return to the Site.
6.3 You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse

7. Where we store your personal data

7.3 Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) (Registered Users only) a password, you are responsible
for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone other than any
authorised representative.
7.4 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will
do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to
the Site and any transmission is at your own risk.
8. Uses made of your information

(j) Resolve disputes, collect fees and trouble-shoot problems.
(k) Compare information for accuracy and to verify such information with third parties.
8.2 We may also use your data, to provide you with information about events, goods and services we offer which
we believe may be of interest to you and we may contact you about these by email for these purposes (or for
any other method of contact we make available which you opt-in to be contacted by). If you do not want us to
use your data in this way, please tick the relevant box situated on the form on which we collect your data.
We will not, other than as set out in this Privacy Policy or elsewhere in the User Agreement, pass on your
data or permit third parties to use your data.
8.3 We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to our advertisers, but we may provide them
with aggregate or anonymised information about our Users. We may also use such aggregate information or
anonymised information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target. We may make use of
the personal data we have collected from you to enable us to comply with our advertisers' wishes by displaying
their advertisement to that target audience.
9. Disclosure of your information
9.1 We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means Wurt Limited,
its subsidiaries, its ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries.
9.2 We may disclose your personal information to the following third parties:
(a) To our Group Companies and to those suppliers to whom disclosure is necessary for the operation of
the Site or any of the services or otherwise to help with our business activities (such as fraud investigations,
bill collections and marketing activities). Please note that we require any third party suppliers to process
and store your data securely and they are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
(b) In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to
the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
(c) If we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it
about our Registered Users will be one of the transferred assets.
(d) To other third parties to whom you explicitly ask us to send your information, or about whom you are otherwise
explicitly notified and consent to when using a specific service.
(e) If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation,
or in order to enforce or apply the User Agreement or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Issuelive or others.
This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection
and credit risk reduction.
10. Your rights
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform
you before collecting your data if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose
your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing
by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. You can also exercise this right at
any time by contacting us via the contact us section.
11. Access to information
The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in
accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with
details of the information we hold about you.
12. How to access and update your email preferences, personal information and public information
You have the opportunity to opt-out of certain communications and to modify the non-public personal
information you or the public information in your Profile at any time by going to the "My Account" section
of the Site. Please be aware that it may take several hours for the change you make to take effect in
the public areas of the website. Please note that any changes will only change or delete data in our database
for the purposes of future activities and communications.
13. Changes to the Privacy Policy
Any changes we may make to this Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page and,
where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail. Any such changes shall be applicable from the date that
